What is this form?

This form is to submit a request for pro-bono assistance from the Vance Center's Keep Families Together initiative, which connects foreign pro bono counsel to U.S. pro bono immigration counsel representing children, families, and asylum seekers.

What happens next?

After an application is submitted, you will get a confirmation email. We may contact you via email asking for more information before we determine whether we can assist you. Once an application is submitted, we will reach out to our Network in the applicable jurisdiction, and we will contact you as soon as we are able to identify a lawyer to assist.

We try to respond to applications as soon as possible; however, it may take longer over holiday or busy periods. If there are any urgent upcoming deadlines, we may not be able to assist beforehand. Please note that, at this moment, we are unable to place requests in Guinea, Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, and the state of Guerrero, Mexico.

If you have any issues or questions regarding this form please contact: VanceCenterKFT@nycbar.org.
